Namath's pass deserved to be intercepted
Downey's Eleven:
1. "I want to kiss you," Joe Namath said to ESPN's sideline reporter, Suzy Kolber. (Twice, in fact.) My reactions were:
(a) Hmmm, the "Broadway Joe" approach to a professional woman on live TV is apparently the same way a Broadway professional woman should be approached at 4 o'clock in the morning;
(b) If ABC has any plans to talk to Namath at a Monday night game, somebody better first equip Lisa Guerrero with a can of Mace;
(c) How come nobody ever says anything like that to Jim Gray?
