COLUMBUS, Ohio _ In accepting an at-large BCS bid Sunday to play Kansas State in the Fiesta Bowl, Ohio State received a reward that could salve the wounds from a 10-2 season and a crushing loss to Michigan.

Considering the strength of the Buckeyes' opponent, this reward might be no prize.

Ohio State returns to Sun Devil Stadium, site of its double-overtime victory over Miami in January in the national championship, to face one of the hottest teams in the country in an 8 p.m. game Friday, Jan. 2.
