Jul. 17--NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. -- Residents of Hope Manor and the Riverside Complex will have a place for community gatherings, meetings, birthday parties and educational workshops now that a new community building was opened yesterday afternoon.
The one-story building, which looks like a house from the outside, is the last piece of construction at Riverside, a project that was plagued by delays and missed deadlines, including some caused by a 1999 flood that made the site a federal disaster area.
