Across-bred heifer continued its championship run to take the interbreed beef title at Saturday's Cumberland County Show in Carlisle.
Top Totty, owned by Andrew Richardson, of Low Bank End, Appleby, had returned to Cumbria with the commercial beef championship at the Great Yorkshire Show earlier in the week.
Mr Richardson paid pounds 1,700 for the Limousin cross Belgian Blue-Friesian heifer at last August's annual Hexham suckler sale from breeder John Smith-Jackson, of Hightown, Melkridge, Haltwhistle. The ...
