Jul. 18--Agricultural trade with Cuba is on the rise, but it will probably be awhile before the communist nation gets substantial imports from South Dakota.

That's how two local residents feel after visiting Cuba as part of a trade mission earlier this year.

Aberdeen lawyer Jeff Sveen and Frederick farmer John Sumption were part of an 18-person group that went to the island nation in March. The trip was organized by the South Dakota Value-Added Agriculture Development Center in Huron.
