MINNEAPOLIS _ Daunte Culpepper walked out of Winter Park on Monday afternoon trying to work up a case of amnesia.
"I have to have short-term memory,'' Culpepper said. "Win or lose, you have to have a short-term memory."
Culpepper was less than 24 hours away from his most mistake-filled game in an otherwise efficient season. For the first time in a puzzling four-game losing streak, the offense had cost the Vikings, Culpepper in particular. He accounted for five of six Vikings' turnovers in a 28-18 loss at Oakland.
"We all have to move on from this," Culpepper said. "I didn't play well, but I have to move on.''
