DALLAS _ Southwest Airlines Co.'s flight attendants took to the streets Wednesday to make the point that they can't live on peanuts alone.

In Baltimore, Chicago and Oakland, Calif., flight attendants passed out boxed lunches to their co-workers to protest a management proposal that would lengthen their workday without adding breaks or mealtimes.
