ANAHEIM, Calif. _ Tuesday morning, Blackhawks goalie Jocelyn Thibault gave Steve Thomas a lift to the airport in Chicago.
Wednesday night, Thomas gave his new teammates, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, a lift, scoring twice on Thibault in a 5-2 victory.
Thomas needed just 12 minutes to score his first goal as a Mighty Duck, redirecting a perfect pass from Fredrick Olausson.
Thomas' goal tied the game 1-1 after Steve Sullivan, who tallied twice, scored from an Eric Daze pass to put the Hawks ahead at the four-minute mark.
