What would it take for you to "cut the cord" _ to give up your tried-and-true home phone and rely completely on wireless service?

Four million people have already done so, but they tend to be younger, cutting-edge types who came of age with wireless and never had a home phone to call their own.

I'm not in that category, so it's a much scarier step. For me, it'd take three things:

One is a reliable wireless connection _ tough in my hilly, wooded neighborhood, but more conceivable as wireless networks improve.
