CHICAGO _ The best college basketball game of the season takes place Saturday night.
It is the best not only because it matches the only undefeated Division I teams in the nation, Connecticut and Duke.
It is the best because the athletes who will play in Durham, N.C., exemplify the antiquated idea that they also are supposed to be students who go to a college for a degree.
They are women basketball players.
It is a sad irony that this game comes only two days after a government commission recommended changes to Title IX, the federal legislation credited with creating the opportunities that helped make ...
