Dec. 27--The Lake Wales Association of Realtors couldn't let 2003 slip by without honoring its Realtor of the Year.
At its annual awards luncheon Dec. 19, the association bestowed its top honor on John Gravel, broker at the Westlake Real Estate Company in Lake Wales.
Gravel, 53, born and raised in Lake Wales, graduated from Lake Wales High School and Florida Atlantic University after studying finance and real estate.
He got his real estate license right after he graduated college and has been a broker for 30 years.
