Dec. 15--Buoyed by strong economic growth, Nava Nakorn Plc will invest 1.8 billion baht in establishing a duty-free zone in Pathum Thani and an industrial promotion zone in Nakhon Ratchasima for local and foreign investors.
Nipit Arunwong Na Ayudhya, the company's president, said the strong economy has given the firm a good opportunity to take advantage of the strong interest shown by foreign investors.
The Board of Investment's (BoI) policy agenda, which seeks to put Thailand in Asia's top five most attractive places to invest, has also played a significant role in the company's decision, he said.
