Dec. 17--St. Stephen's Episcopal School is selling off some of its prime West Austin land to developers of high-end apartments and luxury houses.
St. Stephen's is close to signing deals to sell 28 acres on the school's northern boundary along Royal Approach Drive to an apartment developer and an adjacent 11 acres along Bunny Run to a home builder, said Brad Powell, business manager for St. Stephen's.
The deals are expected to be signed within a few days, he said.
Powell wouldn't disclose the identity of the buyers or the value of the deals.
