BEIJING -- Sinovac Biotech Ltd. ("Sinovac") (OTCBB:SNVBF) announced that Sinovac has received a further US $1.2 million in research funding from the Chinese state government for its inactivated SARS vaccine development program. To date, this brings the total amount of government support for Sinovac's SARS vaccine program to US $2.2 million. It is expected that funding of Sinovac's SARS vaccine development program will continue to be supported by the Chinese government.
