THE PATIENT
MY PROBLEM first became apparent about five years ago.
I had to go to the toilet very frequently to pass water and there was very limited flow.
Sometimes, I had to wait for several minutes before anything happened and even straining produced only a dribble.
At night, I had to get up four or five times to pee. During the day, it was really inconvenient and embarrassing. I couldn't sit through a meeting without having to make my excuses and leave.
