Dec. 10--The annual holiday party for employees is an important event at Hampton Inn Orlando, but during the past couple of years the Altamonte Springs hotel has had to struggle to keep the tradition going.
Last year "was the most bare-boned party we've ever done," says manager Brian Morgan, who heads a 55-member staff. "We supplied the food, and that was about it. We had a good time. We had a boom box and did some dancing."
This year's party, scheduled for Friday evening in the hotel's main ballroom, will be on a grander scale. "As the economy picks up, revenue cures all evils," says Morgan, making it clear that while ...
