Dec. 10--The Tennessee Valley Authority, which lost its federal funding for economic development four years ago, is still winning the battle for better jobs in the valley, officials said Tuesday.
"We're committed to improving the prosperity of our region," TVA Chairman Glenn McCullough Jr. told the Tennessee Valley Regional Re-sources Summit in Chattanooga. "TVA's mission is to promote sustainable economic development, which means more and better jobs for the people of the Tennessee Valley."
