Nov. 25--PANAMA CITY, Fla.--Increased foreign trade with Mexico is a real possibility locally, after a recent Outbound Mission sponsored by the Bay County Economic Development Alliance (EDA).
The Outbound Mission took more than two dozen business and civic leaders to Mexico City and Merida, a port city on the Yucatan Peninsula.
Bev Wakstein, mission director and an executive with the EDA, said the objective was to develop trade, investment and cultural exchanges between Mexico and companies in Northwest Florida.
