Nov. 19--Declining receipts from agriculture rebounded slightly last year in Sutter County, the county's 2002 crop report said.
Rice remained at the top of the commodities produced in the county but prunes, number one in 2001, slipped to fourth behind peaches and walnuts.
The value of crops grown in Sutter County was up 10 percent in 2002 at $291 million compared to $264.7 million in 2001, the report said. Crop values peaked at $347.9 million in 1999, then dropped to $340.1 million in 2000, before declining in 2001.
