Nov. 13--The Arizona-Sonora economic region's share of cross-border and global export trade slipped 12.3 percent in 2002, earning the area an F grade in a report released Wednesday.

At the same time, the region won high marks for integrating Arizona and Sonora into a unified economic region, growth in basic economic sectors, and improvements in quality of life on both sides of the border, according to the Arizona-Sonora Region Report Card by the University of Arizona Office of Economic Development.
