Nov. 17--HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--The summer crowds that packed Main Street to catch a glimpse of the Comet Schwarzenegger are long gone, but the promises Candidate Arnold made are still remembered here in the heart of the popular downtown district.
"He was talking to the business people here," says Mohammed Zeidan, owner of Surf City Market, recalling how in August he briefly met Schwarzenegger, who will be sworn in as governor today.
"We hoped that business will be much better than before," Zeidan says of the brief words the two men shared. "I'm sure he will improve the business everywhere in California."
