Carl Johnson was once a British superstar who sold his small London creative hotshop to a big holding company, Omnicom Group, and then was shipped-with much fanfare-over to the States to save the big house's stumbling marquee Chiat Day, New York, which changed its name to TBWA/Chiat/Day.
