NEW YORK, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Food Allergy Initiative celebrates a major victory in its public policy campaign to create safer environments for children with food allergies and applauds the U.S. House of Representatives in joining the U.S. Senate in its approval of the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (S. 741), the bill originally authored by U.S. Representatives Nita Lowey (D-NY) and James Greenwood (R-PA) and U.S. Senators Edward Kennedy (D-MA) and Judd Gregg (R-NH).
