Jul. 22--DOHA BANK, STRONG H1 RESULTS: Doha Bank has reported profits of USD44 million for the first half, up from USD34.4 million in the same period of 2003. Chairman Sheikh Fahad bin Mohamed bin Jabor Al Thani said the bank had become extremely strong due to capital increase from USD51 million to USD112 million during 2002 and 2003. Reserves and provisions remain equally strengthened, he added.
