Oct. 4--A drive through the parking garage at the Argosy Casino in Lawrenceburg paints a better picture of Indiana's casino revenues than any tax analysis: On the Indiana side of the Ohio River sit row upon row of cars bearing Ohio and Kentucky license plates.
"You have to search through it to find too many license plates from Indiana," said Jim Callahan, majority caucus chairman for the Kentucky House of Representatives. "I look at that and see honest money going to the state of Indiana and leaving the state of Kentucky."
