Oct. 3--When Rock-Tenn Co. decided to hire up to a half dozen new workers this fall, the folding carton maker first employed the Southeast Tennessee Career Center.
"In the past we've always just hired from referrals around the plant," said John Stagmaier, personnel manager for Rock-Tenn's Chattanooga plant. "This was the first time we used the career center and we've been very pleased with the candidates we've gotten."
