STAR MULTI CARE SERVICES TO ACQUIRE TWO HEALTH CARE COMPANIES
IN NEW YORK AND FLORIDA
BROOKLYN, N.Y., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen Sternbach, president and CEO of Star Multi Care Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCS), today reported the company has contracted to acquire the assets of New York headquartered Unity Care Services, Inc., for $500,000 in cash. Star has also contracted to acquire the assets of Unity Home Care of Florida, Inc., based in Miami, for $350,000.
Sternbach said that both companies provide nursing and other skilled services as well as custodial care and that Unity Care Services, Inc., will be merged into Star Multi Care's ...
