Sep. 14--Another summer that hardly seemed to have started has flown, and it's time to put the boat away (unless you happen to be of the ilk that plays in "frostbite" fleets late into the year, racing dinghies until the water starts getting crunchy with ice).

Chicago River bridge-lift runs are listed on Crowley's Yacht Yard's Web site www.crowleys.com (click on "bridges"). The times listed are for the opening of the Lake Shore Drive bridge. The boats will be moving from east to west, so heading toward the lake will be the best way to get around traffic tie-ups.
