TOKYO - Mitsubishi Motors Corp. (TSE:7211) said that in October it will reduce automobile production capacity in the U.S. by about 30 per cent to 140,000 units a year or below and shrink the work force at an American subsidiary's Illinois plant by 40 per cent to 1,950.
