Charles Greenleaf "Green" Carleton of East Falmouth and Naples, Fla., a retired insurance agency owner and veteran, died July 12 at Cape Cod Hospital following a brief illness. He was 75.
Born in Boston, he was raised in Cambridge. He graduated from Milton Academy and Williams College. He lived in Wellesley for many years and moved to Falmouth in 1983.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Navy.
Mr. Carleton was a longtime owner of the Charles H. Watkins Insurance Agency in Waltham, retiring in the late 1980s.
He was a member of Woods Hole Golf Club in Falmouth, the Menauhant Yacht Club and the Grey Oaks Country Club and Naples ...
