Oct. 23--NRT Inc., the nation's largest residential real estate brokerage company, has acquired two residential real estate agencies in two of the most prized areas of the United States, and the former owner of a Westport agency is playing a key role in the transition.
New Jersey-based NRT bought Cook Pony Farm Real Estate Inc., in East Hampton, N.Y., and Paulette Koch Real Estate Inc., in Palm Beach, Fla., which will be led by Wade Shavell, former owner of Riverside/Shavell Real Estate in Westport, now known as Coldwell Banker Riverside Shavell.
