Warwickshire showjumper Robert Smith has never competed in an Olympics before and the 43-year-old is determined to make the most of his belated call-up to the British team.
The High Cross-based rider is one of two individuals for Athens selected from a short list of ten by Great Britain's equestrian team manager Derek Ricketts. And after being snubbed in the past when he felt he should have been selected for the team, Smith has something of a point to prove.
