A DUPAGE COUNTY Circuit Court judge has issued a permanent injunction prohibiting Biasco Piano from running advertisements that five of its local competitors claimed were deceptive. The five retailers--Cordogan's Pianoland, Hendricks Piano, Karnes Music Co., Ortigara's Musicville and Pickle Piano--had sued Biasco last year, alleging the company had engaged in a host of deceptive trade practices. Judge Bonnie Wheaten ordered a temporary injunction against Biasco in December. The two sides have been negotiating over the last several months and entered an agreed permanent injunction order recently.
