Shortly after Yorkville Sound celebrated its first anniversary in 1964, a grinning electronic component salesman sauntered in to founder Jack Long's office and said, "I've made a lot of money off your account." A somewhat perplexed Long replied, "Have we been buying a lot of parts from you?" "No, it's not that," replied the salesman.
