TUPELO, Miss. -- FSA ACREAGE REPORTING DEADLINE: Farmers participating in the Direct and Counter-Cycling Program are reminded that the acreage reporting deadline for spring-seeded crops to the Farm Service Agency is Aug. 1.
Land use must be reported on all cropland on farms enrolled in the DCP for the farm to be eligible to receive benefits.
Acreage reports filed after Aug. 1 will be assessed a late filing fee.
