Jul. 27--A Florida cookware company is building a factory in West Bend, partly as a backup plan should its supplier, Regal Ware Inc., attempt to outsource its products to China.
"We honest-to-goodness hope that Regal Ware makes our products forever," Bryan Hurley, co-owner of Kitchen Craft International Co. said Monday. "But if our products are not manufactured in the U.S.A., we won't sell them . . . period."
Kewaskum-based Regal Ware employs more than 500 at its factory in West Bend. That location has made Kitchen Craft cooking utensils for more than 30 ...
