OF 1,700,000 SHARES OF COMMON STOCK AT $12 PER SHARE
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Opta Food Ingredients, Inc. (NASDAQ: OPTS) today announced an initial public offering of 1,700,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $12 per share. The company will use the proceeds from the offering for existing product development programs, capital expenditures related to pilot plant and manufacturing facilities, additional research and development programs, expansion of sales and marketing capabilities, and general corporate purposes.
