Chi Mei Optoelectronics delays Mainland China project due to political situation in Taiwan Strait
Shanghai. July 27. INTERFAX-CHINA - Taiwan-based Chi Mei Optoelectronics Group plans to delay construction of a liquid crystal display (LCD) component plant in Mainland China while the company considers alternative sites for the new facility, Chi Mei PR official Chen Jingyan told Interfax. The plant had previously been set for construction in the city of Ningbo, in eastern China's Zhejiang Province.
