Make a pilgrimage to the home state of the Motor City and one place the enthusiast road map will point you to is the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners on Michigan's western side. If the museum's 90-acre showcase of 200-plus cars from more than 100 years of the automobile isn't enough to make you stop by, then an expansion-the largest since it opened 38 years ago-should be.
