CHICAGO, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2004, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe will give a concert performance with pianist Warren Jones, conductor John Nelson and members of the Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra, to benefit Soli Deo Gloria, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to commissioning new works of sacred music. The concert will take place at College Church, 332 East Seminary Avenue in Wheaton, Illinois, and will be presented free of charge. Donations will be accepted. The program will showcase opera and concert favorites, including Johannes Brahms's Alto Rhapsody which will incorporate a 40-voice male chorus.
