A commitment to empower users to improve the world's infrastructure was a key message at the 2004 Bentley Empowered (BE) Conference held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, Fla., from May 23-27, 2004.
Anthony Flynn, Bentley's chief marketing officer, welcomed users with a quote from Socrates: "In order to function at all, a person needs the facilities and arrangements available from community; chief among these is the provision of infrastructure and the services it provides."
