2004 AUG 2 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Improving access by low-income women to substance abuse and mental health services is key to successful welfare reform in the United States, argue social workers at the University of Pittsburgh.
D. Rosen and colleagues studied low-income women's use of mental health, alcohol and drug treatment services. Their data came "from the Women's Employments Study, a study examining the barriers to employment for welfare recipients."
