Budapest. July 30. INTERFAX-EUROPE - SZDSZ LEADER BACKS SMALL GOVERNMENT AND APPEALS FOR TAX CUTS. Gabor Kuncze, leader of the junior coalition partner SZDSZ, said that the state should be less involved in the economy and that important economic decisions should be taken by experts not politicians. Kuncze's party is pressing for the lowering of the middle income tax rate from 26% to 24% with a higher upper limit to HUF 2.5 million income per year.
