EAGLE, Colo. _ In a departure from his business-only style, the judge in the Kobe Bryant case apologized to the parents of the woman accusing the Lakers guard of sexual assault for releasing their daughter's name on the court's Web site.
"I want to express my sincere apology to the People of Eagle County, the People of Colorado, and the people who have come here from far away for the mistake made by the courts this week," Judge Terry Ruckriegle said at the conclusion of the morning's open session of pretrial motions hearings.
