Aug. 1--Sabrena Briley's shopping cart has six glue sticks, two packs of construction paper and six colored folders.
She pauses during her shopping trip at a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Hurst and holds up a pink plastic portfolio with 12 pockets.
"I'm not sure what they need this for," says Briley, 24. But she tosses it into her cart and heads off to find tissues and Ziploc bags for her 4-year-old, who is entering pre-kindergarten at Holiday Heights Elementary School in the Birdville district.
