The flyer that comes with this disc says that gypsy swing is genuine European jazz and the only form of the music that did not originate in the USA. After reading that I thought I would be listening to some boring ethnic music that would only be of interest to musicologists. However, the material proved to be very entertaining, and there is no doubt that jazz enthusiasts would enjoy listening to it either on a home audio system or at a good club ...
