Aug. 2--ELECT FARM SERVICE COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
--Nominating petitions are due by Sept. 3 for candidates for the County Farm Service Agency Committee.
Lee County townships Seven South and Eight South will hold elections to choose individuals to represent them on the County FSA Committee.
Eligible voters who may participate in the election are people who reside in townships Seven and Eight South who have interest in commercial agricultural production as a farm landowner, operator, sharecropper or tenant. Ballots will be mailed in early November. ...
