NORFOLK, Neb. _ Authorities charged three men Thursday evening with five counts each of first-degree murder in the slayings of five people during a morning bank robbery.
Jose Sandoval, 23, of Norfolk, and Jorge Galindo, 21, and Erick Fernando Vela, 21, both of Madison, Neb., were arrested in O'Neill, 75 miles west of Norfolk, shortly before noon.
Madison County Attorney Joe Smith said the men would be transported to Norfolk for a bail hearing Friday morning. He said he would ask that they be held without bail.
The men are charged with killing four employees and a customer of a U.S. Bank branch:
