Oct. 31--Perhaps it will be Elvira at the receptionist's desk or SpongeBob SquarePants who shows up to update your computer.
Today is Halloween and in many workplaces in South Florida, it will be a day to be a little wild and let employees have fun by parading in ghoulish garb, carving jack-o'-lanterns, feasting on treats, decorating cubicles and even cackling like a witch.
While some see childish pranks and a waste of company time, workplace experts see a growing trend for boosting employee morale especially in today's recessionary climate that has workers doing more often for less.
