Oct. 12--Like a string of 20-millimeter faux pearls used by crafters ($3.75 for a 15-inch strand), the most valuable holidays for craft retailers come one after another this time of year: Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa.
This means that people have homes, offices and schools to decorate. And then there are costumes and gifts to be made.
